Our three month old daughter Elwen Maya has just returned from having her 12 week immunisation injections (for Men C, DTap, IPV and Hib) at the surgery. One in each leg and im happy to report she wasn't the least bit bothered by it, just like she wasn't with her eight week injections four weeks back.
Elwen has definately inherited her Dadi's oxen-like toughness. But to be honest tough or not, I hate it when she has to have these jabs. I know the nurse is only doing the best for my daughter but its unnatural to watch a stranger stick pins into a twelve week old baby. Daft I know, the injections are for Elwen's well being but I cant help being the over protective Dadi.
